Boggle Bash is just like the original Boggle word game you know and love but redesigned with a fun Pogo twist. Instead of playing against each other like in traditional Boggle, Boggle Bash is a multiplayer cooperative word game. Everyone who is present in a particular game room are all playing and contributing to the shared room goal. To mix things up, players are separated randomly and as evenly as possible onto 1 of 4 game “tables” where a total of 5 players share and play the same Boggle cube. This works out to be a maximum of roughly 20 Players per game room.
During the games (3 rounds of 3 minutes), the players make words by selecting the letters in the Boggle Bash dice tray. Players can click the letters, click and drag across letters to select words or type in the letters on the keyboard to create words. Clicking the right mouse button, the enter key or the "Submit" button on the game screen submits the word. The Boggle dice tray can be rotated to get a different perspective on the letters. Rotate the tray by clicking one of the rotate buttons in the lower corners of the dice tray with the mouse or type the < left or right > arrow keys.

Scoring:
Per the original word game, scoring for each word is based on the number of letters in the word.
3 and 4 letter words count for 1 point
5 letter words are worth 2 points
6 letter words are worth 3 points
7 letter words are worth 5 points
Words of 8 or more letters are worth 11 points

For the purposes of scoring "Qu" counts as two letters, even though the two letters are on the same cube. When using the keyboard, you can type "Q" then "U" as you normally would then continue typing letters in the word. You do not have to adjust the way you spell the word to account for the combined "Qu" letter die.

Unique words found by a player result in additional point bonuses. A point multiplier increases every round (up to 3X) through the third round. Points are converted to tokens at the end of the round so that the more points you earn, the more tokens you get.

Here are some additional pointers designed to help you become a more advanced Boggle Bash player.

Clicking the rotate buttons in the lower corners of the Boggle dice tray gives you a new perspective on the game board.

You earn extra points and tokens for words only you find, these are referred to as "unique words".

When using the mouse, you can click OR click and hold while dragging across letters with your mouse to make words, right click submits the word.

When using the keyboard, type the letters; <~ and ~> Arrow keys rotate the Boggle dice tray; the enter key submits words.

The sort button shows you the words you entered either alphabetically or in the sequence you entered them.

Panic Flip:
The Panic Flip scrambles the letters in the Boggle Bash dice tray for the last minute of the last round. This is not a full dice reshuffle but rather a randomized swapping of the letters on the board. This makes word combinations that might have been almost possible for the first 2 minutes of the game now possible in the last minute of the last round.

Room Goal:
The players will be presented with one of the following room goals.
  • Collect a total of x points - "Points" in this context means typical Boggle points based on word length (1 point for 3 and 4 letter words, 2 for 5, 3 for 6, etc.)
  • Find a total of x words
  • Find a total of x words of y-or-more letters!

Boggle Bash • Re: Can't Play

By Baranthar » November 21st, 2017, 8:37 pm

I can't play boggle bash on Firefox either. when I get to "choose a game room" and click on a room, it has the blue banner "loading boggle bash" followed by one, then two, then three blinking periods, then back to one, then two then three. It will do this for an hour.
I have Firefox set up to not load Flash, but to ask if I want to enable it for a webpage. Many other pages will tell me that I need to activate Flash, and allow me to do so if I wish. Boggle Bash never asks, and I cannot find a way to allow Flash when I visit Pogo. The only remedy I can find is to let all pages run Flash whenever they want and I am very reluctant to do this.

I used to find that when I was away from Pogo for several days, that Boggle Bash would take longer to load for the first time after a break, taking more time on each successive stage, with the blue banner, the black screen, etc. The loading process would seem to stall out on each change in the loaded pages. After that, as long as I played Boggle Bash once a day, it seemed to load as quickly as any other page. I had a break of 10 days this summer, and it never loaded on Firefox again. Each time Firefox updated, I would try it again but have to use Chrome if I want to play. I had hopes that Quantum Firefox would solve the problem but I find I am still unable to load Boggle Bash.

When you take the clothes off a doll, does it have underwear painted on it, or is it "nude"? Do you see clothes painted on mannequins? Really no difference.

It's not actually nude - there are no "bits" as we say. It could be seen as just a flesh-coloured body stocking. This allows for basic layering.

I can only chat if I put the cursor on the full screen icon in the top right corner. It does the same thing in First Class Solitaire. It's been doing this for almost a week now. What is going on??? I have to keep going over full screen to see the chat or type anything. Is any body else having this issue? It's really getting frustrating!!! I hope they're looking into this as it's been going on for so long now. The game also lags but only on the right side? this is really strange! But it's getting old now!!!

Minis are constructed in layers. They load from the paper doll-like body up through the clothes.

If your computer is loading slowly, you may see that effect. Clearing caches and rebooting will usually resolve it. Even refreshing the page should work. During the splash screens at the end of games, there's a fair amount of data flowing; that can slow things down, too.

If it's a frequent problem, consider rebooting your modem or contacting your provider to see why your signal is slow.

Click on the Challenges tab underneath the game and see if your credits are showing under "Current Challenges In Boggle Bash."

Keep the Chat Rooms tab open while you play and switch to the Challenges tab after you complete a round in order to check your updated progress.

Boggle Bash • Not getting credit for words without E

By DawnLars » November 7th, 2017, 4:31 pm

I am not getting credit for words not spelled with an E. I played 2 games and should had at least 14 words added. Stuck at the same number after 2 games. Refreshed. logged out. all the other fixes I know of.

Full screen chat was working fine for me when I tried the game just now.
What exactly happens when you try to chat?
Have you tried a browser other than the one you normally use to see if you are able to chat?
