Clear the board and avoid the boneyard with Pogo's free online Dominoes!

Oh, Oh Dominoes!

Match pieces with the same number of dots to block your opponent and clear the board in Dominoes. Score tokens when the gold end pieces add up to any multiple of five. But be careful. One wrong move in Dominoes will send you straight to the bone yard!

Easy to Play
Match Domino pieces with the same number of dots. To score points, make the gold end pieces add up to any multiple of 5 (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.).

Avoid the Bone Yard
If you play all of your dominoes before your opponent, you receive points for all of the "bones" (dominoes) left in your opponent's hand. You receive one point per dot.

Tokens for Everyone
In the online version of this classic board game, you'll receive tokens (equal to the number of points you earn) at the end of the game whether you win or lose, as long as you finish the game.

Calendar of Puzzles.
Determine the length of your online board game: Short Dominoes games run until one player reaches 100 points. But, if you're up for a longer game, you can set this option to 250 points.

Demolish the competition with the most dynamic dominoes game online!

At the beginning of a new Dominoes game, seven "bones", or pieces, are dealt to each player, and the player with the highest double plays that bone first. So, for example, if someone has the double six, then they go first. If no one has the double six, then the person with the next highest double plays first. If neither player has a double, the player with the highest value domino must play it first. After the first hand, the person who plays first can play any domino they have in their hand.

In the online version of this classic board game, to play a bone, match the ends of a bone in play with the end of one in your hand. If you cannot match, you must draw from the bone pile until you can play. Score by matching and making the board total equal a multiple of five (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.).

Play a bone by dragging it onto the table. Bones in your hand that cannot be played are darkened. When you drag a bone to play, a ghost image will indicate the closest legal play, while the gold arrows point to other areas where that domino can be legally played. Drop the bone in place by releasing the mouse in the location you wish to play (you'll see the ghost inside the outline).

If you cannot play from your hand, you will draw from the bone pile (the undealt dominoes) that slides in from the left side of the screen. You may click in the bone pile to select dominoes one at a time, or click on the "Quick Draw" button to automatically draw until you find a playable domino (or until the bone pile is exhausted).

If your hand becomes filled or the bone pile has been exhausted and you still cannot play, your turn is skipped. If both you and your opponent are skipped and there are no more dominoes remaining in the bone pile, the game ends and the player with the lowest total score wins the hand). If both players end the hand with the same score, that hand ends in a tie.

Here are some tips and tricks to make you a dominoes champion!

Keep the board count low until you are ready to score.

If you win the game, you will get a Jackpot Spin. The game ends as soon as you (or your opponent) score the required number of points to win, even if you just started a new hand and have several dominoes remaining.

In the online version of this classic board game, scores will be lower until the top and bottom of the spinner is played.

Keep count of the bones and values in play and in your hand.

Note which matches your opponent does NOT make, and when he draws.

Try to prevent your opponent from scoring, based on the visible tiles in play and in your hand.

Block your opponent from playing, thus forcing draws from the bone pile, by playing tiles you think he or she cannot match.

The 0-0, 0-5, and 5-5 bones are useful for scoring immediately after your opponent does, hang on to these until you can play them.

Got it. You can branch only from the first double played. Duh.

I didn't have any problem branching off the 0-0 this evening.

Yeah, why can't you start a new branch from the 0-0?

What do you mean? You will not get the double blank in every game. Many games will end before all the tiles are used. It is totally random.

You need to select a Room first. Then select an Empty table. From the Table Options pop up window, click on the arrow next to Game Points. Change it to 100. Put a check mark in the box: Use these Options the next time I open a new game and then Play.

Dominoes • Re: Ranking Out in Dominoes

By vane jarekjh » July 14th, 2017, 2:47 am

I ranked out long ago playing only the bots (Before they added more ranks)
I never noticed about the double blank or any other specific tile. But I have to say that I never payed that close atention and never kept a record of my tiles and the bot's tiles, all I wanted was to rank up fast by earning point in the less time possible so I played as fast as I could knowing that the bots play super fast too.

I appreciate your comments, and please understand that I absolutely never wanted to believe that this or any other game is "rigged"... It was just so uncanny, day after day, for so long. It even got to the point where I planned my moves, expecting the bot's placement of the double blank (defensively), and he never disappointed. However, the good news is that ever since I wrote my comments about this, amazingly, for the first time I have been getting the double blank in most games every day! It is like Christmas, and I am loving it!

apparently you were not watching what just happened in my game...what you are expressing happens randomly...no rigging...just happens.

The Dominoes tiles are dealt randomly. I'm not ranked out by a long shot, but, I do have all the badges Pogo has offered throughout the years. (excluding rank badges). And, I haven't noticed that the Bot gets the Double Blank tile any more then I do.
I have discovered that I only notice what the Bot gets when I'm playing for that particular tile in a Challenge, though. Kinda like the White Car Syndrome.

I ranked out in dominoes a long time ago and play exclusively with robots. After more than a year of playing this daily, I have noticed that the robot ALWAYS gets the double blank in its tiles; as such I never do. Has anyone else noticed this? This gives the bot an unfair advantage in so many ways which I would like to have some of the time! Can anything be done to make certain the tiles are more fairly distributed?

Dominoes • Re: Dominopolis Badge

By Rangersrnmbr1 » July 7th, 2017, 7:55 pm

There are some tips.

1 is to do some math for example use the multiplier. 10x4 = 40

Another is to Score on 5's with maybe at least 15 and if you are lucky on the scratcher or question mark, it could be a combination of 40.

Dominoes • Dominopolis Badge

By Nenelyan » July 7th, 2017, 7:39 pm

Going through my mix n match badges that I never did and I have this one for Super Dominoes: Dominopolis Badge - Make 12 plays of 40 points or more in 2 weeks. I don't normally play dominoes, so I have no clue how I got this badge to begin with, all I know is that I am only decent at this game to begin with. I've managed to get 1, but I am wondering if there are any tricks or tips to make getting this badge easier.

my understanding is that they closed black and blue because a player was messing with chat.
