Clear the board and avoid the boneyard with Pogo's free online Dominoes!

Oh, Oh Dominoes!

Match pieces with the same number of dots to block your opponent and clear the board in Dominoes. Score tokens when the gold end pieces add up to any multiple of five. But be careful. One wrong move in Dominoes will send you straight to the bone yard!

Easy to Play
Match Domino pieces with the same number of dots. To score points, make the gold end pieces add up to any multiple of 5 (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.).

Avoid the Bone Yard
If you play all of your dominoes before your opponent, you receive points for all of the "bones" (dominoes) left in your opponent's hand. You receive one point per dot.

Tokens for Everyone
In the online version of this classic board game, you'll receive tokens (equal to the number of points you earn) at the end of the game whether you win or lose, as long as you finish the game.

Calendar of Puzzles.
Determine the length of your online board game: Short Dominoes games run until one player reaches 100 points. But, if you're up for a longer game, you can set this option to 250 points.

Demolish the competition with the most dynamic dominoes game online!

At the beginning of a new Dominoes game, seven "bones", or pieces, are dealt to each player, and the player with the highest double plays that bone first. So, for example, if someone has the double six, then they go first. If no one has the double six, then the person with the next highest double plays first. If neither player has a double, the player with the highest value domino must play it first. After the first hand, the person who plays first can play any domino they have in their hand.

In the online version of this classic board game, to play a bone, match the ends of a bone in play with the end of one in your hand. If you cannot match, you must draw from the bone pile until you can play. Score by matching and making the board total equal a multiple of five (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.).

Play a bone by dragging it onto the table. Bones in your hand that cannot be played are darkened. When you drag a bone to play, a ghost image will indicate the closest legal play, while the gold arrows point to other areas where that domino can be legally played. Drop the bone in place by releasing the mouse in the location you wish to play (you'll see the ghost inside the outline).

If you cannot play from your hand, you will draw from the bone pile (the undealt dominoes) that slides in from the left side of the screen. You may click in the bone pile to select dominoes one at a time, or click on the "Quick Draw" button to automatically draw until you find a playable domino (or until the bone pile is exhausted).

If your hand becomes filled or the bone pile has been exhausted and you still cannot play, your turn is skipped. If both you and your opponent are skipped and there are no more dominoes remaining in the bone pile, the game ends and the player with the lowest total score wins the hand). If both players end the hand with the same score, that hand ends in a tie.

Here are some tips and tricks to make you a dominoes champion!

Keep the board count low until you are ready to score.

If you win the game, you will get a Jackpot Spin. The game ends as soon as you (or your opponent) score the required number of points to win, even if you just started a new hand and have several dominoes remaining.

In the online version of this classic board game, scores will be lower until the top and bottom of the spinner is played.

Keep count of the bones and values in play and in your hand.

Note which matches your opponent does NOT make, and when he draws.

Try to prevent your opponent from scoring, based on the visible tiles in play and in your hand.

Block your opponent from playing, thus forcing draws from the bone pile, by playing tiles you think he or she cannot match.

The 0-0, 0-5, and 5-5 bones are useful for scoring immediately after your opponent does, hang on to these until you can play them.

Yes, and I'm aware of that, because I've replayed a number of badges on multiple occasions in different games, but thank you for mentioning it, because I may not have known. However, this was the Legendary Badge that just came out, and I had only just purchased it, so I know for a fact that this was my first time earning it. Just to be sure that I wasn't mistaken, I went back and double-checked, and I was able to confirm that I have only earned it once, but definitely only got 1K tokens.

The first time you earn a badge you win the original amount, 2000, 3000, etc. tokens
The second time, regardles of the original amount, you only get 1000 tokens
Then it starts decreasing by 100....third time 900, 4th time 800 tokens and so on.
Once you reach 100 it then decrease by 10, 90, 80, 70 ....
Then by 1 ...until you "win" 0 tokens

This is true for mix n match and premium badges.
In the case of Wednesday (weekly) badges you always win the original amount.

Your table of contents in M&M29 shows you won the badge, but when you click on the badge in the album it says you haven't completed it. Very peculiar. Is it the first time you've completed the badge as subsequent wins give out less tokens?

Dominoes • Not getting right tokens for M&M badges

By LojowiP » August 15th, 2016, 1:55 am

I just completed the Dance-Off badge. When I purchased it, the description said I would get 3,000 tokens for completing the badge. When I earned it, it only gave me 1,000 tokens. I was pretty certain that this has happened to me before with other games, I just never followed up thinking I must be mistaken, but this time, I was positive that what I got was wrong, so I got my husband to check his Pogo account, and sure enough, it said 3,000 tokens when you earn that badge. It's not about a few thousand tokens here or there, all you can do is shop at the mini mall with them anyway, but there is a principle involved here. Has anyone else had this problem? I have a screen grab of the discrepancy, if Pogo has any interest in this.

To add to what Mod_Aby posted, "game" refers to the subcategory the background can be found in the Mini Mall.

Backgrounds > Games.

Pogo_Spike's gift was a background of a line of dominoes stacked on end and falling down in a line. Check your gifts/backgrounds.

Good points by all. The center small screen helps but I need a reminder of all the dominoes that have been played. Also is the spinner showing what is the spinner or has the spinner number been repeated after several other dominoes have been played on the spinner? :|

Use the "End Tiles Total" mini-screen in the upper right corner of the playing field screen. It shows you all open end tiles even when the lines of tiles are too long to appear in the main screen. You don't have to move the screen that way. It can be "closed" when you don't need to use it so perhaps you aren't used to keeping it open. I never close it. To open or close it, click on the double arrows that appear behind the End Tiles Total number in the upper right corner. They point down to open it; they point up to close it.

I very much agree, why should we need to move the screen to see a play

I agree with both Linnylu2002 and Patkay5126. Dominoes is long OVERDUE for a full screen option, especially because of constantly having to drag the playing board around. It gets annoying when this needs to be done towards the end of a hand, turn after turn.

I would even be OK with losing the chat area in order to allow this game to go full screen!
Hopefully the Pogo Tiki Gods are reading this and realize that it's a pain in the rear to play this game while keep having to drag the screen around. LOL :ugeek:
