First Class Solitaire is a classic online solitaire card game with first-class extras! In this travel-themed solitaire game, players need to place their cards in numerical order in alternating suits to win. Look out for the "bonus" cards to increase your score.


First Class Game Play
The object of First Class Solitaire is to move all of the cards from the table and the deck into one of the four "foundation" piles at the top of the screen.

Solitaire with Style
New cards of the same suit are added to the foundation in ascending sequence; A,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K. Sort all 52 cards into the correct piles and win the game!

Bonus Cards
Hidden among the standard playing cards are four BONUS cards, one for each of the four suits. When placed on a foundation pile, the BONUS card reveals a special score multiplier.

Score Tokens
All shuffles and deals of the cards are completely random. If you are unable to remove all of the cards from the table, begin a new game, and collect all the tokens you've won from the previous game.

Solitaire Basics
At the beginning of the game, seven stacks of cards are laid out on the table with the top card in each pile face up. The first stack has one card (face up), the second stack pile has two cards (one card face up, one card face down), until the seventh stack has seven cards with only the top card face up.

Following Suit
You can click and drag cards between the stacks. The cards must be placed in alternate color order and always in descending sequence (a black 8 can only be placed on a red 9). When you drag a card into position, the top card of the stack will highlight to indicate which locations are legal moves. Sequences of stacked cards can be moved in this manner as well by clicking and dragging the top card in the sequence.

Build a Foundation
You can also move cards to one of the four "foundation" piles. Beginning with the Ace of the matching suit, each foundation pile is built from an ascending sequence of cards; A,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K. A card can be moved to the correct foundation pile by automatically double-clicking on it. If it is the next card in the sequence, it will move to the correct pile. BONUS cards can also be moved by double-clicking them.

Solitaire Scoring
Find and move the BONUS cards to the foundation piles to win tokens. When a BONUS card is placed on a foundation pile, the token multiplier is activated. Any card played in that foundation pile (before or after the BONUS card is placed) is worth the number of tokens on the multiplier. Below each foundation pile is a window that shows the current score for that pile. At the bottom of the screen, the score window shows the total score for the game.

Solitaire Basics
Try to clear as many cards from the table as you can before drawing new cards from the deck.

Following Suit
Don't play three cards in a row from the deck. That way, the next time you go through the deck you'll see different cards. You can move cards out of the foundation pile if you need to. You'll lose any tokens you have won for the card so far, but it may help you complete a sequence.

Build a Foundation
Don't be greedy. If you play just to collect BONUS cards you probably won't be able to clear the table and win the game.

Solitaire Scoring
If it looks like you can not finish the game, move as many cards and BONUS cards to foundation as possible to maximize your token payout.

First Class Solitaire Game Controls
  • New Game: Click "New Game" when there are no more cards you can move and your game is over. You will collect any tokens that you won and start over with a new set of cards.
  • Undo: Clicking "Undo" will reverse your last move, if the move did not reveal a new card.
  • Deck: Click on the deck to deal three more cards to the table. If there are less than 3 cards, only the remaining cards will be dealt to the table.
  • Restack Arrow: When you have used all the cards in the deck, an arrow will appears. Clicking the arrow will restack the deck. You may restack the deck as many times as you like.
  • Finish: When all the cards have been placed face up on the table, the "Finish" button will appear. Clicking this button will automatically move all the cards from the table to the correct foundation pile.
  • Sound: Clicking this button to turns sounds on or off in the game.

I use IE but I switched to Microsoft Edge and it worked for all flash games.

Flash games are working fine. Do you, by any chance, use Chrome as your browser? If so, did you see the item on Chrome in Pogo News: http://news.pogo.com/attention-chrome-59/

There are threads throughout the forum on other fixes for using Chrome.

If Chrome isn't your browser then copy / paste your system info here (Click on "HELP", then on Compatibility Scan, click on "SCAN NOW"; copy/paste the system info in the bottom box after you do the scan).

I have tried loading a lot of flash games including first class solitaire, canasta, Jungle Jin, Mahjon safaire etc.

No flash games will load since Saturday. Praying this will be fixed soon, I love these games

One day this last week, I got 7 games in a row. After 3 games it gave me the announcement. After the next 3 games it again gave me the announcement, so it looks like you should have received it. Just to let you know, no one sent me any gifts LOL

The most recent update to the Google Chrome browser to Chrome 59 has resulted in loading errors for many of Pogo games, specifically table games where you can play vs. a bot or a person.

You probably do because the win announcement doesn't go higher than 3 wins.

For example, there is no announcement if you win four games in a row.

Congratulations on winning six games in a row.

That's a nice accomplishment. :)

This was really weird. I won six games in a row. That's a first for me. I got the first 3 wins notice but not the second. Do you have to loose a game to reset the 3 wins in a row notice? Just wondering.

As of 2 PM PT, June 16, Mahjong Escape and Undiscovered World should now be fixed. If you're still experiencing issues with these games, you may need to clear your cache and your Flash cache. (Make sure to un-check preserve Favorited sites option).

Flash sent out an update overnight and this has since created issues on certain Pogo games. The Pogo team is currently investigating which specific Pogo games this is affecting and contacting the developer's to fix these issues. It's a shame that since we all probably have different browsers but still can't open a game. so the problem probably lies with a glitch in Pogo...I finally after doing everything I could to open the game in IE, had to download Chrome and it now opens.....I guess there is always a work around for us to be able to play.

Hover your mouse pointer over that button. The third option is "Sign Out." Click on it to sign out.

You say to sign out, but my sign out button is GONE! When I hit the green button, the menu pops up and say private mode, public mode, but sign out isn't even there. How do I sign out now?

The game loaded right up for me.

Try doing one or more of the following:

Leave the page and go back to your home page. Now go back to the game and see if it loads.
Sign out of Pogo and sign back in again.
Right click on "Start Game" in the yellow rectangle and choose to open the game in a new tab or window.
Refresh the page ( F5 key at the top of your keyboard).
Try a different browser to see if you have better results.

This is what I do if a game doesn't load for me:

I leave the page and return to the home page.
I go back to the game and it usually loads on the second try.
If it doesn't load on the second try I repeat the process and it always loads on the third try.

First Class Solitare says it's downloading/opening, but never does either one.
