Limit Mode
Limit Mode is a more casual version of No Limit Texas Hold ‘em.  It features a simplified betting system, the ability to join a game in progress, and the option to re-stake and continue playing when out of chips.  Limit Mode does not utilize the ratings feature.

No Limit Mode
No Limit Mode is a tournament-style Hold 'em poker game geared towards the more serious poker player.  In this mode, players stake once and play until only player remains.  Furthermore, betting is wide-open; the user can raise up to his entire stake at any time!  Four players are required to start a game, which gains intensity over time via increasing blinds.  Games can be rated and further regulated by a "rating required" option, which allows players to group by similar skill levels.

Jackpot & Tokens
There are two ways you can earn a Jackpot spin:
  • In Limit Mode, you must win 4 hands (spelling S P I N at the bottom of the screen).
  • In No Limit Mode, you win a Jackpot Spin by being the last player remaining.
The Jackpot Spinner spins like a slot machine. When it stops spinning, you'll win the prize indicated on the spinner or perhaps the JACKPOT itself! Members of Club Pogo are eligible for DOUBLE JACKPOTS!

Stakes & Tables
When you sit down at a table, you will contribute some of your token balance into your "Stake". This represents the amount of tokens you set aside for betting. All players who sit down at a table use the same stake. In this poker game, the nice thing about using a stake instead of your total token balance is that a player with a thousand tokens can play a player with a million tokens and it's still easy to tell who's ahead in the betting.

Practice First!
You're going to be winning and losing real tokens when you play any of the "Roller" rooms. Further, your entire stake is committed in No Limit Mode (that is, you don’t get your stake back unless you win the game; leaving early forfeits all your tokens!). We recommend you practice first by playing in one of the Just For Fun rooms until you're comfortable with the game and the betting process.

Going All-In (No Limit Mode Only):
There is one case where all betting will cease and the remaining community cards will be revealed without further betting.  This occurs when at least one player bets all his tokens, at least one other person calls, and there is no one left with tokens to bet. At this point, since no more bets can be made, the player’s cards are revealed as are the remaining community cards.  The winner is then decided in what is usually a dramatic Showdown.

Hand Rankings:
When hands are revealed, the player with the highest hand wins. Here is a list of the possible hands you could make in poker, listed from highest to lowest.

Straight Flush - Five cards in sequence that are all the same suit. A Royal Flush is a special type of Straight Flush that goes from 10 to Ace.

Four of a Kind - Four cards of the same rank.

Full House - A three of a kind and a pair in the same hand.

Flush - Any five cards of the same suit, but not in sequence.

Straight - A sequence of cards in any suit. Please note that for a Straight, an Ace can be high or low, but it cannot "wrap around". In other words, A-2-3-4-5 is a straight, and 10-J-Q-K-A is a straight, but Q-K-A-2-3 is not.

Three of a Kind - Three cards of the same rank

Two Pair - Two different pairs of cards

One Pair - One pair of cards of the same rank (e.g. Two fours)

High Card - The highest card in your hand.

I got credit for one win but not for the second today, kind of Deja vu from yesterday. It shows me with 2 wins not 4. The spin is just fine but no credit after the spin.

I decided to give the limited version a try. It goes on forever, I finally just had to leave, but it gave me the badge.

Being a Paid member has nothing to do with technical issues your computer may have playing Pogo.
Not all computers are alike. And, many cheaper models sold aren't even made for online gaming and intensive Flash use.
Case in point is that Explanation Point in the circle you get. Your computer is telling you that there is no more room in your Flash Cache and it is warning your that unless you do something, it will crash.
Pogo is not what is was 5 years ago, when most of the games were still Java. Now that there are so many of them that are Flash, and, not to mention all the animated Badges that need flash to run (some have the right arrow with the circle on them to prevent them from using Flash resources. Chrome Browser does this.)
Following the instructions posted will really help.
Right clicking on the game and select Global Setting will allow you to add more storage for Flash to run.

Please check your Flash plug-in in Chrome. Since Chrome's last update, it blocks the flash plug-in. So you need change a setting:

Click on the 3 horizontal bars in the upper right corner, then click Settings.
Click on Show advanced settings. Scroll down to the privacy section, and click on Content settings

In the Content settings window, school down to the Plugins section. Detect and run important plugin content is the new default setting for Chrome. Select Run all plugin content to play Flash content in Chrome by default instead of having Flash blocked. (NOTE: If you want to enable click-to-play plugins so you can choose to run Flash when you encounter Flash content, select Let me choose when to run plugin content instead).

Oddly enough the Carlsbad ad freeze problem does not occur if I use Internet Explorer . So I have switched to it from Edge. However...why the difference? Different ads on different browsers? Whatever. Just trying to help others who are experiencing the same problem. ;)

Don't know what to tell you then. This is a members helping members forum and none of us can change any ads and we cannot do any reprogramming. You need to tell Customer Service.

I agree. This has been going on for days now. Can't this be fixed and DON'T say call customer service. We all know it does no good. Ads pay for free play, but then they don't let you play!!!

Anyone else have issues with the "Kicker"? When I have the same winning hand as the computer but I have a 10 & they have a 9, they split the pot. Not long after, same winning hand but computer has a 6 & I have a 5 the computer wins. The only time they let me win with a "Kicker" is if I have like a K over a 4. If it's real close & I'm winning, they split it with the computer. It it's real close & the computer is winning, they always let the computer win. What's going on with that? Been going on a while now & is making it REAL hard with badges.

Not as big an issue as you yet, but yes I'm starting to get this too. At different times I've had problems with several games. When it gets bad I stop playing that game for a few months, or play rarely. When I go back to playing I find the problem has cleared.
