The object of Phlinx is to create groups of 3 or more matching sones and make them disappear. Free the four captured glyphs and win the puzzle game!

Gameplay consists mostly of using your sun disk to shoot stones into the playing field. To aim your sun disk, just move your mouse around in the playing field. You'll see that the sun disk rotates to follow your cursor, and an aiming line shows you where your shot will land. Once you are satisfied with your aim, click the left mouse button to fire!

If you're having trouble finding a good shot, you can also move your disk to any of the three different platforms you see at the bottom of the screen. To move to a different platform, either left-click on the platform or use the space bar to rotate between platforms.

Once you have launched a stone, it will travel in a straight line, bouncing off the pillars on the sides, until it hits another stone in the playing field. The stone will join the rest of the playing field at the point where it landed. If that stone becomes part of a group of 3 or more stones of the same color, they'll disappear.

If, after these stones disappear, there are other stones disconnected from the rest of the playing field, they'll fall to the ground. These stones then make their way down the ramp and knock the progress meter closer and closer to its goal at the top of the pillar. It's by releasing these stones, not just making matches, that you earn tokens and win the game.

Your sun disk contains two stones. The larger stone in front is the one you currently have loaded. The smaller stone in back indicates the next color that will be loaded into your sun disk.

As you make shots, new rows will be added to the playing field. These new rows will be added based on the number of shots you make, not the amount of time you take. So feel free to take your time between shots to aim, chat, read a short romance novel, or bake a batch of chocolate-chip cookies for your favorite game developers (Cough cough.) The rows won't advance during that time.

Here are some tips and tricks to help you enjoy a game of Phlinx the free online puzzle game!

Don't forget you can bounce stones off the side pillars. This will help you make matches higher up in the playing field so you can drop lots of stones. It helps you a lot in the nighttime stage.

If you're having trouble lining up a shot, don't forget that (in the daytime) you can move your sun disk to different platforms. You can line up better shots that way.

Remember that making lots of stones fall is the key to winning, not just making matches.

At the end of every round, we provide you with a helpful hint. Be sure to read those.

It's a "display" problem Pogo has been having since few weeks ago.
In the past, when the badge week was over the badges simply disappeared from badge central.
Now, with the glitch, when the badge week is over they chan ge to what you are seeing now, Time Ran out message and the Activate button.

If you earned your badges in time don't worry, you didn't lose them and they should show complete both in your weekly album and when looking in the Badges tab in your profile.
If you didn't got them then you will have to wait because the badge week was over one hour ago.

Phlinx • Played weekly challenge no credit now

I played both weekly challenges and it showed complete and gave me the points. Now it is showing that time ran out and it says activate on both of them. Checked the badges and it shows that they were not activated. What is going on?

There is a tab called Challenges and if you click on it, you will see your progress. You may need to click on Chat Rooms first, then Challenge.
As for your Chat windows, click on the little gear above the Who's Here and make sure Show Chat is checked.

If you just click that little circle near the bottom of the right hand side "pillar", the current ball will go there and the next ball will take its place. When you want to use that ball, just click that circle again, and it will trade places with the current ball that was ready to shoot.

Huh :?:
What Squelchie?

On the right side, right above where u put the "ball" you want to save for later (to use the next one)

Ohhhhhh Oooookkkkkk!
Did notice it but it looked more like an owl to me but now that you mentioned it, it really is a Squelchie and it is true that it looks like ready to be lit up. Maybe in the higher levels?

Phlinx • Re: not getting credit for 5 or more stones

By CAGal1950 » May 29th, 2015, 2:08 pm

You need to DROP 5 or more stones at one time. If you MATCH 3 or more of the same color, you will CLEAR them. You don't want to do that. Yes, your bonus round should count if you DROP 5 or more at one time.

Are you saying that only the same color stones count and does the bonus round count??

yes it is not giving credit. I counted 7 groups of 5 or more in the first part and 5 groups of 5 or more in the bonus part and only got credit for a total of 4

The only stones that count are the stones that drop....not the stones that clear when you shoot them.
