52 card pickup is one of the easiest card games to learn! Follow the card game instructions below and start playing today.

Your card game starts when you click any card on the pile.

Each subsequent card you pick up has to be one higher, lower or the same as the previous card clicked . Choose wisely because mistakes result in lost points!

The card game lasts only two minutes, so move fast! You'll get a warning sound when there are just seconds left, and when time runs out, the card game is over!

At the end of the card game, you've either removed every card or you haven't. Check the bottom right hand corner for your score and try to beat it next time you play!

Below are some useful 52 Card Pickup tips and tricks that will help you improve your card game and beat your best score!

Before starting the card game, take a look at all the cards to see which one will give you the best initial options.

Choosing a card of the same value can be risky and limit your future options.

Aces can be both high and low in this card game, allowing you to utilize kings, aces and deuces sequentially. Use this to your advantage!

Only click on cards for which you cannot see the value as a last resort. Points are removed from your card game score for every wrong card you click on.

This is a card game where speed is important -- taking too long to decide which card to click on will make it harder for you to clear the board.

52 Card Pickup • Attention - Chrome 59

By Pogo_Llama » June 30th, 2017, 9:08 pm

Hello Pogo community,

The most recent update to the Google Chrome browser to Chrome 59 has resulted in loading errors for many of Pogo games, specifically table games where you can play vs. a bot or a person.

We are aware of this issue and are working on a fix to it. During this time, we ask that you play those specific games on a different browser such as Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Internet Explorer.

Thank you and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you. I couldn't find anything about scoring and it never hurts to ask.

Rank is determined by the number of cards removed.

There is a huge jump to reach Rank 41. You will have to remove 14,700 cards to do so.

Reaching Rank 42 will be easier. You only have to remove 2,700 cards.

The requirements are not always the same for each rank. Some require that you remove many cards while others are a bit easier.

52 Card Pickup • scoring

I just hit rank 40. Does the scoring change? Usually you advance 2% for each hand toward the next rank. Now it is staying the same 1% for several hands. Is it a glitch or different scoring?

Each hand/game has a deck of 52 cards. If you pick up all the cards, you are only going to get credit for picking up 52 cards.

I'm not sure where you get the idea that you would get 4 times the credit.

Edited to add: I just saw Seska's response to you and I now understand.

That's correct. It's not about score, it's about the number of cards. You picked up 52 cards so you got credit for 52 cards.

The same thing happens in Pogo Bowl for challenges where we need to knock down a certain number of pins. A perfect game gets credit for 120 pins rather than for the score of 300.

Basically if you play 52 card pick up by picking the cards up in order, such as A,K,Q,J,10,9 or start with A, 1, 2, 3,and so on until you finish the deal ,either forward or backward, do it perfectly 4 times ,you will have picked up 208 cards and have your badge. Alternatively you can pick the cards up like this: 3-3-3-3-,4-4-4-4, 5-5-5-5 and so on. In other words, each subsequent card that you pick up has to be one higher, one lower or the same as the previous card that you have picked up. If you run out of moves, just take the score and play again. I hope I have made it clear instead of confusing you. Good Luck.

Some challenge instructions are worded in unexpected ways. That's when you try playing the game to see if you get credit and how much you get. Playing one game makes clear that you don't have to do anything special to get challenge credit toward this badge.

There are several games that do not award tokens.

52 Card Pickup is one of those games.

However, you will receive the 2000 tokens for completing the weekly challenge.

AM I seeing this correctly? You don't get tokens for playing this game?

Perhaps you would like to click on the How To Play Tab under the game screen. Perhaps you will find those directions more to your liking. Good luck with your badge.
