Trivial Pursuit Daily 20 is fun and easy to play online board game. In Trivial Pursuit Daily 20, you want to answer to most questions correctly as quickly as possible. Episodes are always 20 questions and you get one answer per question. If you answer wrong, you are alerted and the game moves on to the next question.

Simply start an episode and answer the questions when they appear by clicking on the answer. Don't delay though, every 5 seconds an answer is removed and the points for that question drop. The game uses thousands of questions from the original board game and when you answer correctly, you earn points. Collect points to earn a wedge. You'll have to get 1100 points to get the wedge and if you do there are tokens and celebrations to be had

Unlike traditional Trivial Pursuit, the game is played by a single player and instead of moving a piece around the Trivial Pursuit game board, you move your wedge downward into the waiting pie. Earning a wedge will earn you a jackpot spin! Can you take it to the next level by earning all of the wedges in a week? If so you'll score big on tokens, bonuses and ranks for Club Pogo players.

The game starts when one clicks the Daily Episode, the Calendar or the Random Game (only available to Club Pogo users) buttons. The daily episode and random games will launch the start of the episode so be ready. The calendar will let you select to play previous days or re-play days where you didn't earn the wedge.

Once you begin an episode, it is considered "played" so do not exit a game unless it is absolutely necessary as you will lose the potential "first play" token payout. Because this is a time based experience, there is no pause button.

Players earn points by answering questions correctly. The scoring schedule for correct answers is as follows:

Answer in the first 5 seconds = 100 points
Answer after 5 seconds but before 10 seconds = 75 points
Answer after 10 seconds but before 15 seconds = 50 points

Here are some tips and tricks to help you succeed in TRIVIAL PURSUIT - the fun online board game!

Once you've earned a wedge, you cannot replay the episode.

Episodes can be repeated as many times as necessary to earn the wedge.

First time plays have larger token payout than repeat plays indicated by the token multiplier.

"Double Up" Questions double the question values so make sure you're on top of your game.

Playing and winning an episode the day it premieres awards the user 1500 tokens.

Hasbro provides the game and I would guess the version we play is from many years ago. You are not the first to notice a question that the answer was not "current". Not much anyone can do about it. Pogo only hold the license to use the game, not make any changes to it.

On Wednesday there was a question on where is the bowling hall of fame. The only answer that was close to being true was
St. Louis since the true answer wasn't on the list. Several years ago it was moved to Dallas Texas.

Recently, a question appeared in Trivial Pursuit concerning Golf...

The question was, what type of a hole is the only one you can make a "double eagle," a par-3, par-4, par-5 or a par-6?

The answer that was considered to be correct was "a par-5," when you hole out in two shots (3 under for the hole). However, and I did call this to Pogo's attention, you can also make a double eagle on a par-4 if you hole out your tee shot! This has occurred once on the PGA Tour when, in 2001, Andrew Magee holed out his tee shot on the par-4 17th hole at the Phoenix Open. A double eagle on a par-4! So, par-5 holes are NOT the only type of holes that you can score a double eagle!

Now, for another player who actually holed out a tee shot on a par-4 but it was NOT a hole-in-one: At the 2015 Valero Texas Open, Aaron Baddeley did hole out with driver from the tee on the par-4 17th hole. Ace, right? No! It was Baddeley's second drive on the hole. He hit his first one out of bounds. So that hole-out with the second drive gave him a score of 3 on the hole. What a way to make a birdie without ever hitting any shot except from the tee box!

Sounds like you are confusing Jackpot Spin Tokens with Bonus Tokens. JPS will be low. While the Game Bonus Tokens are really high.

I think question was most likely created before we knew about her new book. They probably never changed it so that's why it said 1 book instead of two.

Yeah on top of that it froze at answer 5 and I had to start over thus losing half the tokens I would have gotten. I should be at 78,047,000 not 042,994. So sickening.

Trivial Pursuit Daily 20 • Ads slowing down the game

By juliansgirl7 » May 1st, 2017, 2:57 pm

Has anyone who is NOT a club member experienced this? I don't have the money to be a club member but that doesn't mean that i should be cheated out of points(tokens) because the ads slow the game enough so that I only get 75 instead of 100 for each question.

Boy, that Harper Lee answer threw me for a loop. I just finished reading "Go Set A Watchman" last week. I keep a beat up copy of "To Kill A Mockingbird" on my book shelf and I looked forward to reading "Watchman" and it didn't disappoint me at all. It now sits next to "Mockingbird" on my shelf. I'm glad to see some many others know of Harper Lee's second and last book.

Harper Lee was elderly but definitely alive when the second book, Go Set A Watchman, was published; she died about a year later. It is said that she had cognitive issues that may have been exploited when she agreed to publish it. This book had flashes of brilliance, but in general it was pale in comparison to her masterpiece. Go Set A Watchman was actually written first, and her editor in New York suggested that she re-write it from the perspective of a younger Scout. The rest is history. But, Hasbro and Pogo, your answer is incorrect.

Not the first question that gives a wrong answer. Today they asked what was the largest bird in both Africa and Australia - the answer was ostriches which is wrong. Australia doesn't have ostriches except in the zoo or as escapees from ostrich farms. They certainly aren't native!
Just wish whoever writes the questions, researched the ones that have to do with the rest of the world. After all most of the questions have to do with American history or football so it shouldn't be that hard to get the few that aren't at least correct!

Hasbro writes the questions and answers. They own the game. Pogo only has the right to use the game AS IS. They do not have permission from Hasbro to alter anything on the game.
If you are unhappy with an Answer, my suggestion is to contact Hasbro. There is nothing anyone here on the forums can do.

Glad I wasn't the only one that noticed that. But this one started out with How many novels did Harper Lee write.....2 is the correct answer. She may not have been alive when it was published but she still WROTE the 2nd
novel.
